A Georgian Armchair

This family chair had been passed down through the generations and was very wobbly and tired looking.
We stripped it right back to the frame and made new front and back stretchers as the originals had broken tenons. This put the strength back into the chair, making it solid again.

Building up the layers using traditional and built to last techniques the chair became usable again and the owners then
had a selection of fabrics to choose from settling on the perfect choice for the chair
